Welcome to the breakdown recovery page, breakdown insurance is a very wise purchase if you drive allot as it gives you that piece of mind that if you were to break down then someone would come and rescue you, no matter what time it was.

The unfortunate fact is that cars do break down and so having some breakdown cover is a very good idea, even with the newer cars that are very reliable they can still have problems and you would really wish you have bought some breakdown cover if you actually did break down in the middle of the night.

The breakdown recovery insurance is also very cheap these days as the various companies are competing for your business and so there are some very cheap deals available. The two main breakdown cover firms are the RAC and The AA and they both offer a great range of breakdown insurance services which are very reliable. There are also other smaller companies which may be slightly cheaper but those two are very well trusted and so we recommend you choose one of those.

When you choose some breakdown cover you need to think about what you need as there are several different levels. Generally the most basic level just covers you out on the road if you breakdown which is the main thing that most people need and so many people just choose that. This does not cover you if your car will not start at home though and so this is usually in a separate package, this can be very useful though as we have all experienced the car that just will not start for no apparent reason.

There are then a range of other services available in the more expensive breakdown recovery packages that are very nice but do cost more. They include taking you and your passengers to your destination nationwide if you do breakdown or giving you a courtesy car while yours is being fixed.

Another great thing about buying breakdown cover online is that you usually get a very good discount which can rage from 10% to 25% just for buying online and so this can make your cover even cheaper.
